Yasuko was born in Sapporo, Japan. In 1994 , she moved to NYC and studied jewelry making and design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. After mastering the crafting of delicate hand piercing and hand finished “Diamond dust” texture, Yasuko launched her own collection with her partner Richard Ito. Both techniques continue to be part of her signature styles. She loves working with earth-toned natural diamonds and other stones and they are set in textured 18k gold. Yasuko creates jewelry that marries her own soft-spoken elegance with femininity. Yasuko’s collection focuses on earthy delights each of which is hand-carved and hand-finished. All of her collections are created at her studio in Brooklyn, NY.

Todd Reed is an award-winning artist-jeweler whose work has historically challenged the established concepts of high jewelry and luxury design. Emily C. Johnson works in a variety of precious metals and with unusual, ethically sourced stones that reflect the unique style of her clients. Rings have always been her favorite and feel like the most intimate pieces to wear and create. Perhaps that’s because they don’t require a mirror to admire. Or perhaps it’s the physical sensation of wrapping our hardworking fingers in something precious and meaningful.
When she started making jewelry, she had no interest in making engagement or wedding rings. She thought an engagement ring could only be a big diamond on a skinny band. Turns out, she was wrong! Johnson’s rings are different, intended to be practical and beautiful — a true expression of your personal style. Her engagement rings are unique, statement pieces you won’t want to miss.
Engagement Rings and Wedding Bands by Fraser Hamilton
Born in the Highlands of Scotland, Fraser Hamilton studied silversmithing and jewelry at The Glasgow School of Art, Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry, Tokyo, and finally, the RCA in London. Casting elements of the human form in precious metal, he uses the body as a landscape, playing with our cognitive understanding of scale to create monolithic sculptures in miniature that simultaneously channel antiquity and popular culture. Often clutching uncommon cuts of precious gems, the hand, a symbol of creation and discovery, is a recurring motif within the designs.
Carved from wax and then cast in gold and silver, Fraser’s signature collections feature the sunken signet rings, Reclining Nude rings, Hand pendants, and rings, and his more recent mask pendants. The iteration of the hand has the twin narratives of heartfelt, sentimental gesture and allegorical discovery of the precious, with the gem within the sunken signet, seemingly in the process of being dug from the ground. With a medieval, almost pagan grittiness, Fraser’s jewelry, layered with symbolism and meaning, forms an intriguing collection of contemporary totems.
